Ice bases
So I tried my hand at some ice world bases. Not perfect but pretty good and considering they are made with about 20 cents worth of materials for 10 rather than paying a dollar a piece for resin bases, I’m pretty happy. I tried using Future acrylic wax to make them shine more like ice, but I think I’m going to add a light coat of water effects to get the shine even higher.
How did you make the bases, what materials were used? I am dying to know, as I am starting WH40K, also an Eldar Mymeara themed army. Hope you don’t mind me stealing your ideas ;P

I’ll post a detailed tutorial soon, but the short of it is breaking up VCT (vinyl composition tile) priming white, airbrush blue and then white over the top. Really simple and cheap way to to bases.
